Four Mile Beach sits above the water with the kind of view that makes people go quiet. The drop to the water does half the composition work; the wind does its best to undo it. Fair trade.
The direction on a family session is mostly invisible. Keep everyone moving, keep the jokes coming, and catch the in-between moments where the real relationships show. Nobody stands in a line staring at a lens unless they want to.
One of these ends up as the holiday card, a couple land on the grandparents' fridge, and at least one gets framed before the week is out. Decent return on an hour at Four Mile Beach.
