Rio Del Mar Beach was the pick for this one, and the coast delivered: soft light, room to run, and a horizon that never gets old.

Then Seascape Beach & Resort: same golden hour, new scene.

From there we moved to Seacliff State Beach, trading one backdrop for another without losing the light.

Kids set the schedule on shoots like this and that is by design. We chase the energy while it is up, rest when it dips, and the parents get photographs of their family actually enjoying each other.

Somewhere down the line these photos become the ones pulled out at graduations and weddings. Rio Del Mar Beach will look exactly like this in them.
