There is a moment on every bluff shoot where the wind wins and everyone laughs. At Seacliff State Beach it came early and kept coming.
From there we moved to Rio Del Mar Beach, trading one backdrop for another without losing the light.
Kids set the schedule on shoots like this and that is by design. We chase the energy while it is up, rest when it dips, and the parents get photographs of their family actually enjoying each other.
Somewhere down the line these photos become the ones pulled out at graduations and weddings. Seacliff State Beach will look exactly like this in them.
