Redwoods have a way of making everyone feel small in the best way. The family walked into UC Santa Cruz and the scale did the rest.
The direction on a family session is mostly invisible. Keep everyone moving, keep the jokes coming, and catch the in-between moments where the real relationships show. Nobody stands in a line staring at a lens unless they want to.
One of these ends up as the holiday card, a couple land on the grandparents' fridge, and at least one gets framed before the week is out. Decent return on an hour at UC Santa Cruz.
