Some sessions you plan around the tide chart. This one at Wilder Ranch landed right where sand, light, and the family all showed up at the same time.
The direction on a family session is mostly invisible. Keep everyone moving, keep the jokes coming, and catch the in-between moments where the real relationships show. Nobody stands in a line staring at a lens unless they want to.
One of these ends up as the holiday card, a couple land on the grandparents' fridge, and at least one gets framed before the week is out. Decent return on an hour at Wilder Ranch.
