Why Carmel
What we love about Carmel for family sessions.
Carmel and Carmel-by-the-Sea are worth the drive. White-sand beaches, cypress trees bent by the wind, and storybook streets a block off the water. Milestone family sessions, anniversary shoots, the shoots where somebody flew in for the weekend: this is where we point them. We plan the timing around the light and the tide, and one tip from experience: park a block up from the beach lot, because it fills by 4pm on a Saturday.

Spring and fall. Carmel Beach in the last hour of light is hard to beat.
