Why Pacific Grove
What we love about Pacific Grove for family sessions.
Pacific Grove wraps the tip of the Monterey Peninsula in rocky coast, tide pools, and the bright coves around Lover's Point. It's quieter and more relaxed than Carmel a few minutes south, with wide-open shoreline that photographs beautifully late in the day. Families love it for the mix of sand, rock, and sea, and there's usually room to spread out even on a weekend. We time it for the tide and the softest light at the end of the day.
Best time of year
Spring and fall for the clearest skies; summer mornings can be foggy along the point but often burn off by afternoon.
