What we love about Watsonville for family sessions.
Watsonville sits at the south end of Monterey Bay, where the Pajaro Dunes stretch along miles of quiet, uncrowded sand. It's one of our favorite beaches for families who want wide-open coast without the Santa Cruz crowds: soft dunes, gentle surf, and room to spread out even on a weekend. Palm Beach at the river mouth adds tide pools and driftwood. It's an easy, relaxed setting, flat and stroller-friendly, and the light out here at the end of the day is some of the best on the bay.
